Throwback on: IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2024)

ICRA 2024

Reflecting on ICRA 2024: UniVERSITY OF TRENTO and Boğaziçi UNIVERSITY at the Forefront of Robotics and Automation

Last month, from 13-17 May 2024, our coordinator team from the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Trento, alongside our consortium partners from Boğaziçi University, had the privilege of attending the prestigious IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA 2024) hosted by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society in Yokohama, Japan.

The ICRA 2024 conference was a significant event, attracting 7,000 participants from around the globe. The discussions were centred on the latest innovations and emerging technologies in the fields of robotics and automation. This gathering of brilliant minds provided a platform for sharing groundbreaking research and forging new collaborations.

Highlights from Boğaziçi UNIVERSITY

During the conference, representatives from Boğaziçi University delivered insightful talks on key topics. Emre Ugur, Yigit Yildirim, and Tuba Girgin focused on safe robot learning and enhanced social navigation, shedding light on crucial advancements in these areas.
