IEEE 20th International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE 2024)

The 20th edition of the International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE 2024) with the main topic “Automation 5.0: automation everywhere for better and smarter living” will be held from August 28 – September 1, 2024 in Bari, Italy. This conference is one of the three flagship conferences of the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society.
University of Trento has submitted a paper “A Passivity-Based Variable Impedance Controller for Incremental Learning of Periodic Interactive Tasks” and will present it during the conference. This paper focuses on an incremental learning strategy that allows the robot to continuously acquire new tasks using kinesthetic demonstrations.
